MCP server · beta
Build in Minecraft with your AI assistant
You make the design calls. Your AI assistant does the WorldEdit work. Herobrain runs the script and shows you the result in 3D before anything touches your world.
How it works
- 01
Connect
Add the Herobrain MCP server to your AI assistant as a custom connector: paste one URL and sign in with Google or GitHub.
Connection steps → - 02
Describe and decide
Say what you want and make the design decisions: palette, gradient, floor plan, proportions. Your assistant writes the WorldEdit script, Herobrain runs it in a sandbox and sends back renders and cross-sections, so you can both see what to fix.
- 03
Get the build
You get the renders, a .schem file and a gallery page with a 3D viewer you can link to. If you run a server, an optional plugin can paste the build into your world.

What you need
- An AI assistant with MCP connector support. Any assistant or agent that speaks MCP works: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others. You add Herobrain once, with a single URL.
- Beta access. Accounts are added to an allowlist. You sign in with Google or GitHub.
- Something that reads .schem files. Herobrain exports .schem only, the schematic format WorldEdit loads.
- Optional: a Paper or Bukkit server. The server plugin that pastes builds into a live world supports Paper/Bukkit only.
Questions
Is Herobrain an official Minecraft product?
No. Herobrain is an independent tool. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
Does it design the build without me?
It is not meant to. A one-line prompt gives a rough result. Builds get better when you choose the materials, the gradient and the layout and then correct what you see in the renders. Quality is uneven, and some builds need several rounds.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
Any AI assistant or agent that supports MCP: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others. Herobrain is a standard remote MCP server, so you add it as a connector with one URL.
How do I use the .schem file?
Put it in the schematics folder of your WorldEdit installation, load it with //schem load and place it with //paste. Any tool that reads WorldEdit .schem files can open it too.
How do I get access?
Herobrain is in beta and access is by allowlist. Use the request form to ask for it; the connection steps are on the Connect page.
Are my prompts and scripts public?
No. A gallery page shows the renders, the 3D viewer and the .schem download. Prompts and scripts stay private to the author.
